SPOKANE, Wash. – Whitworth University volleyball coach Kati Bodecker has announced a large and talented incoming class for 2026.
The Pirates welcome nine new players to a team that won a second consecutive Northwest Conference championship last fall. The class includes one transfer and eight first-years.
"I am excited about what might be my largest incoming class since I have been at Whitworth'" Bodecker said. "I am eager to see all nine of these athletes join our current team and make an impact immediately. They clearly represent everything that we stand for in our program. They are all talented volleyball players, great students, impactful in their community and most importantly, demonstrate high level character in everything they do. I believe they will thrive at Whitworth and immediately strengthen our winning culture. I can't wait to coach them."
The Pirates are 95-15 against Northwest Conference opponents over the last six seasons and 172-34 against league foes during Bodecker's 13 years as head coach. Whitworth graduated two starters from a team that finished 21-7 overall and 14-2 in the NWC in 2025.
