Whitworth University

Matt Buckner joined the Whitworth Sports Medicine staff in the summer of 2021 after spending two years at Utah State University covering Women's Soccer and Men's Basketball, while also serving as an adjunct faculty member for USU Kinesiology. Prior, Buckner attended the University of Montana where he completed his Bachelor's of Science in Health & Human Performance - Exercise Science and Masters of Athletic Training. He is an NATA member and currently holds certifications with Graston and is a Champion Performance Specialist. A native of Bozeman, Montana, Buckner is often found golfing, hiking, fishing, or on the ski hill during his days off.

His primary sport responsibilities include football, men’s basketball, and softball.
