Krystal Roberts 6th season as a volunteer cross country coach. Her main coaching duties are with the female distance runners.

Krystal helped coach Madelyn Buckley to the NWC freshman of the year during the 2022 cross country season and spurred on other female XC and TF runners to All-Conference honors over the last 4 seasons. In 2023, she helped coach Lily Jones to the NWC newcomer of the year for cross country. Coach Krystal followed it up and in 2024 she helped Ashlyn Dary win the NWC Newcomer of the Year as well.

Krystal graduated from Whitworth in 2020 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. She also recently completed her Masters in Teaching and Learning through Whitworth and will begin her Principal Certification Program this Fall.

As an athlete at Whitworth, Krystal ran 3 years of XC and 2 years of track and field. She was a member of the 2017 TEAM that took 13th overall at the NCAA Division III XC National Championships. She was All-Conference in both XC and track and field. Krystal also earned All-Academic and was chosen for the Northwest Conference All-Sportsmanship Award.

Krystal works as a Middle School teacher for Spokane Public School’s Duel Language Program
