Gracee (Dwyer) Brinkman graduated from Central Washington University after earning a softball scholarship. While she was at CWU, the Wildcats made many appearances in conference championships and regional play. Brinkman earned Scholar Athlete awards from the GNAC conference each season. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Physical Education and School Health and Movement Studies, and Secondary Education, while also obtaining an endorsement in Math.
Brinkman is a 2018 graduate of University High School. At that time she also completed the Running Start program at Eastern Washington University.
Brinkman was a four-year varsity starter in both slow- and fast-pitch softball for the Titans. She earned many awards, including first team All-Greater Spokane League seven times, GSL MVP twice, team MVP, team Most Inspirational three times, and team Offensive MVP three times. Gracee also played on the varsity basketball team for three years, earning three Most Inspirational awards.
Brinkman led her fast-pitch teams to two state appearances and four regional appearances, winning two of them, and three GSL championships. Due to her athletic and academic success, she was honored as the Lady Titan Award winner and the GSL Student-Athlete award.
As a coach's kid, Brinkman has experience in leading and assisting many softball camps since playing in select ball. She also joined in coaching the 2022 state-qualifying fast-pitch softball team at University.
