2019: Kale is a team captain and a D3football.com third team preseason All-American.
2018: Kale earned first team All-Northwest Conference and third team All-Region after leading the Pirates in total tackles (78). He forced three fumbles and intercepted a pass.
2017: Kale earned honorable mention All-Northwest Conference despite missing three games because of injury. He finished with 33 tackles, including 5.5 for loss.
2016: Kale made 12 tackles as a freshman before a knee injury ended his season in the seventh game. He also broke up four passes.
HS: Kale was selected as the Narrows League Defensive Player of the Year in 2015. He helped lead Gig Harbor HS to consecutive Narrows League titles.
