HILLSBORO, Ore. – For the second straight season Whitworth University sophomore guard Ashlyn Peterson is a second team All-Northwest Conference honoree, according to the release of the 2025-26 All-NWC women's basketball team by the conference office today.

Peterson followed up her 2024-25 NWC Rookie of the Year campaign with another standout season. Through the end of the regular season, Peterson led the conference in scoring with 16.7 points per game. She was second in three-point field goals made per game (2.0) and total three-pointers (51). For the second consecutive season, she also led the conference in minutes per game (34.9).

Peterson is one of five starters who are slated to return for Whitworth next season.
