SPOKANE, Wash. – Six Whitworth Pirates were included on the list when the Northwest Conference announced its 2025 All-NWC Lacrosse team this week.
Kenzie Hemman earned first team recognition, while Campbell Vincent claimed a second team nod. Amelie Deese, Sage Fosnock, Megan Whitman and Sierra Witte each received honorable mention Consideration.
Hemman (Sr., MF), a second team selection in 2024, closed her stellar Pirate career with a first team honor for the first time. Hemman led Whitworth with 39 ground balls, caused 18 turnovers and won 68 draw controls as an all-around midfielder. She finished with 30 goals and five assists to rank third on the team in goals and total points. Hemman retires as the Pirates' all-time leader in ground balls (186), caused turnovers (105) and in draw controls (267). She played in all 66 of Whitworth's matches during her career and made 64 starts.
Vincent (So., Attack) set team records for goals (65) and total points (83) in 2025. She ranked first in the NWC in goals per game (4.64) and third in total goals. She was also third in total points. In only two seasons, Vincent is the Pirates' career leader in goals (121) and total points (145).
Amelie Deese (Jr., Def) started all 14 matches as a defender this season. She finished with 19 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers while winning a career-high six draw controls. Deese picked up her first career assist.
Sage Fosnock (Sr., GK), a first team All-NWC selection in 2024, closed out a Pirate career that included 64 matches played and 50 starts. Fosnock had a 12.19 goals-against average in 2025 and stopped 36.4% of shots faced.
Megan Whitman (Jr., MF) led Whitworth and ranked second in the NWC with 76 draw controls this spring. She also led the Bucs with 22 caused turnovers. On offense, Whitman finished the season with 25 goals and five assists.
Sierra Witte (Jr., MF) scored 32 goals and led the Pirates with 19 assists in 2025. Her goal and point total (51) both ranked second on the team. Her assist total was eighth in the NWC. Witte added 25 ground balls.
Whitworth finished the 2025 lacrosse season with a 7-7 overall record and 4-4 in the NWC, tied for fourth place in the standings.
