WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Whitworth Pirates finished out the fall half of the 2025-26 women's golf schedule in strong fashion with a third-place finish on Monday and Tuesday at the Confluence Classic, hosted by Whitman College at Veterans Memorial GC and at Wine Valley GC.

Whitworth finished only one stroke out of second place.  The final team scores were George Fox 619, Whitman 638, Whitworth 639, Pacific (Ore.) 652, Puget Sound 696, Pacific Lutheran incomplete.

Whitman's Beatrice Archer was the medalist with a score of 71-79 – 150 (+6).

Carolyn Rose finished in fifth for the Pirates with a score of 76-78 – 154.  Ashley Maki (81-80 – 161) and Erin Pierce (77-84 – 161) tied for 11^th place.  Rosalind Nordberg (79-85 – 164) took 17^th place, while Stella Fergin (82-84 – 166) tied for 19^th.
