PARKLAND, Wash. – One hundred and ten minutes of play was not enough for either squad to scratch out a goal, or a win, as Whitworth played to a 0-0 draw at Pacific Lutheran in a women's soccer match on Saturday afternoon.

The Pirates (5-4-2 overall, 2-3-2 NWC) and Lutes (4-2-3, 2-0-3) have combined for five tied matches already this season, all in NWC play.

Sophomore Andrea Stump, a First Team All-NWC honoree in 2012, lived up to that again on Saturday.  She made eight saves to preserve the shutout and the tie for the Pirates.

PLU outshot Whitworth 21-4 in regulation, but the Pirates finished with a 2-1 edge in shots during extra time.

Whitworth will take on Puget Sound on Sunday at noon.
